RAINWORKS: construction begins at Hillcrest Terrace

Construction began today on RainWorks Hillcrest Terrace. Property owner Bernard Smadja gave his blessing to the design and planting plan, developed by landscape architect Mary Abe with input from engineer Mike Clar. Scope of the original design was scaled back to keep project within budget, allowing acceptance of a bid for construction from Denchfield Landscape and Nursery of Hyattsville, Maryland. Denchfield Project Manager Carson Kline anticipates a 3 week construction period.
